George Henry Paxton joined our lord on July 15, 2018, he was 71 years old. He was born March 15, 1947 in Oregon. He lived in Fresno most of his life. He is preceded in death by his parents Clyde Paxton and Juanita Franke (Paxton). He is survived by his wife Catherine Paxton, a son- Jan Paxton and stepchildren- Benjamin and Teisha Thomas; He had 3 granddaughters, Kirsten and Tiffani Paxton and Lacie Thomas, one great granddaughter- Aria Jimenez. A sister, Dianne Pyle and two nephews Shawn and Darrel Pyle of Visalia, Ca.

In his early life, George worked for the lumber industry before settling in Fresno and accepting a job at Saint Agnes Hospital, where he worked for over 20 years. He was an avid reader and played the game of chess and enjoyed competing in tournaments. He had many friends and will be missed by those he loved.

Graveside services will be held at Mountain View Cemetery, 1411 W. Belmont Ave. Fresno, Ca.
9 am. Friday, July 27th. @ The Garden of Peace.
